What Time tracking can do in Kovo
Clock in
Clock in and out, take a break and carry on. If you work for several companies, you still have just one clock: clocking in at company B ends company A.
On tasks
Clock time directly on a task. You can add project hours to an invoice later.
In line with German working time law
Kovo deducts missing breaks automatically. You get a warning for more than 10 hours a day or less than 11 hours of rest. Rounding to 5 to 30 minutes if you like.
Vacation and sick days
Vacation, half days too, approved by owners or admins. Sick days count right away. Colleagues see who’s away, but not why.
For managers
Team overview with target hours per weekday, hours balance and vacation days. Add or correct entries, with a note.
For payroll
Monthly export with employee number, target and actual hours, vacation, sick days, public holidays and night, Sunday and holiday hours. Plus a printable timesheet per person.

What doesn’t work yet
- The payroll export is a CSV file, not the DATEV payroll format.
